She wears lace,
He brings flowers.
Selfless acts, unmatched powers.
Kisses blown
And winks returned.
Playful acts, love’s joy is learned.
Holding hands,
All snuggled up.
Tender acts that fill heart’s cup.
Writing notes,
A secret glance.
Special acts that make love dance.
Spice it up.
Romance your spouse.
Chase them all around the house.
Love is good.
God made it so.
Nurture it and watch it grow.
Devotional
Song of Solomon 1:2-4 (NIV)
“Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth—for your love is more delightful than wine. Pleasing is the fragrance of your perfumes; your name is like perfume poured out…. Take me away with you—let us hurry!”
Three wonderful sensations of romantic love can be seen in this passage. Celebrate all of them.
- The taste of love – “kiss me,” “your love is more delightful than wine.”
- The smell of love – “Pleasing is the fragrance of your perfumes.”
- The pursuit of love – “let us hurry!”
These and many more sensations are best enjoyed, guilt-free in the holy bonds of marriage. Take time to celebrate your spouse. Never lose the romance. Enjoy!
